🍀 How Luck Works

Luck is the governing stat that modifies loot table weights. A base Luck of 1.0x gives standard probabilities. High-level play involves stacking multipliers to reach Luck values in the hundreds or thousands.

Example:

If a baddie has a 1% drop rate with 1.0x Luck, and you have 10x Luck, the effective drop rate becomes 10%. This is why an optimized pet team is a prerequisite for hunting Apex or Secret rarities.

1. Pet System (PRIMARY)

The most important investment. Players hatch pets (distinct from Baddies) that provide passive Luck multipliers. This creates a "gacha within a gacha."

Key Facts:

  • Pets are purchased with Gems
  • Each pet provides a Luck multiplier
  • Higher rarity pets = higher Luck bonus
  • Phase 3 of progression (Rebirth 10-14) = critical pet investment phase

2. Consumables (Potions)

Temporary boost items that provide flat or percentage increases to Luck.

Potion Types:

  • Luck Potions - Flat or percentage boost to Luck
  • Fortune Potions - Higher-tier Luck booster
  • Sourcing: In-game shop, daily quests, Lucky Block drops
  • Duration: Temporary (typical: 15-60 minutes)

3. Environmental ("Pray 4 RNG")

A map interactable (likely a shrine or altar) that players can visit for ritual engagement.

Mechanic:

  • Visit the "Pray 4 RNG" shrine in the map
  • Grants short-term burst of high Luck
  • May provide guaranteed high-tier roll
  • Breaks up monotony of auto-rolling

4. Rebirth Multipliers

Each Rebirth increments the base Luck stat, making high-rebirth accounts statistically superior.

Benefits:

  • Permanent base Luck increase per rebirth
  • Compounds with Pet Luck multipliers
  • Higher rebirth = fundamentally better RNG
  • Cannot be "undone" (permanent advantage)

💎 CRITICAL: The Pet Pivot (Phase 3)

At Rebirth 10-14, you MUST shift your Gem spending from baddie spinning to pet investment.

This is the single most important strategic decision in the game. Without proper pet Luck multipliers, you will NEVER efficiently farm Cosmic/Apex baddies.

  • Try to hunt Cosmic baddies without Pets
  • Equip low-Luck pets "for aesthetics"
  • Neglect Pet upgrades once obtained

Effective Drop Rate: ~3% (3,000x improvement!)
